From how we seek new talent to how we train and inspire them, we believe hospitality isn’t just a part time job but a rewarding and varied career path.
Over the next 12 months, The inspired series will be expanding and going nationally with events planned in Sydney, and Brisbane later this year with the focus on inspiring, educating, enabling entrepreneurship, leadership and knowledge throughout the next generation of the hospitality industry.
We will be holding Q&A style events talking to young chefs and hospitality students from TAFE, hospitality training institutes and secondary Colleges across Australia and visiting schools to meet with students to make them aware of opportunities available to them within hospitality and the wide range of hospitality courses available to them and also ultimately promote commercial cookery as sustainable and admirable career choice.
Giving students access to the knowledge and experience from some of the best chefs and hospitality professionals in the country who will speak to the students at these events to further educate, mentor and train them.
It is an integral part of the future to support, educate and look after the next generation through mentoring, training and ensuring there is a network they can turn to both professionally and personally. A community made up of industry people that the next generation can tap into for career advice, support and personal and career development.
Students have had the opportunity to hear from international icons like Richard Branson, some of the world’s best chefs including Massimo Bottura, Daniel Humm, Brett Graham, and Top Aussie legends like Guy Grossi, Tegan Ezard and Peter Gilmore to name a few.
